Treasures in a Trunk

My husband is a true american picker. He is a treasure hunter, dumpster diver, trash picker. Some call it  modern archaeology or recycling America. I love some of the stuff he comes home with. This trip he brought home a little wood chest full of old dolls. Some are made of clothespins. They are so cute. I will try and replicate them. I love his finds!

 

 Pictured are the chest that was filled with the treasures, A clothespin doll, and the heart on the chest of Raggedy Ann and Andy.   He also found an old potting table on wheels. It had broken tile on top. I can't wait to build a new top. Below is a picture of even more great finds. 

A galvanized bucket with a lid. These are great for making my homemade soaps. 2 live animal traps. Whoever decided they no longer needed these must have caught what was a nuisance and was done with them. An old dresser. It needs painted or refinished. It is made of solid wood so is a great find regardless. A set of leather saddle bags. Now, where do I put it all. :)
